holy shit. that has got to be real. his reaction was so natural that it couldn't be fake. holy shit. i knew it was possible but never saw it take place. my mom had eye surgery once to remove a blood clot from behind her eye that could have killed her. the procedure was taped and we watched as the doctors popped her eye out, cleaned out the clot and put it backso easily. it was gruesome. i was 11 years old and ever since then i've known it was possible to pop your own eye out because of how easily they popped her eye out for the procedure but hot-damn, this video was crazy.
Look closely. His eye didn't pop out, he broke his stick, and the head stabbed him in the face and got stuck. Right after it happens, look at his right hand - the stick is missing it's head.
Yeah I agree with you, it was the stick that broke in half and the stabbed him on the face. It can be seen that right after it happens, half of the stick is still on his hand and the other half along the bubble head of the stick is missing.
I don't know I've been drumming all my life and broken a lot of sticks and this doesn't look like a jab in the eye with a broken stick it looks like his eye. It does look like the mallet head came detached but I would guess that might be what hit him in the head and caused the accident. Maybe I'll take up guitar!
What would possibly have made his eye pop out? Nothing. He broke the mallet and it hit him in the cheek just below his eye. If his eye had popped out, or even if it had hit him in the eye. he would have had a MUCH stronger reaction.
Yeah...The stick breaks, the broken end sticks in his cheek, and the head of the stick dangles from his cheek just below his eye. I can see how you would think his eye popped out, because the first time I watched it I was like "HOLY CRAP!"
Watch it again, and keep an eye on the stick in his right hand.
